The most important thing you can do is to take ownership of your elections. We at FFEC can conduct research, write reports, inspect public records, train election monitors, and so on, but it is all for nothing if you as a citizen don't use this information to become informed and involved. Here are some ways to do that:

  • Learn how you can help monitor your local elections. (More on this in the coming months.)
  • Become informed. Learn about your voting system, election laws, and rules and procedures.
  • Meet your local election supervisor. Talk about your concerns. Make sure he or she values transparency and public input.
  • Sign up to be a poll worker through your local elections office.
  • Help build a coalition for voting rights and election integrity by informing and involving others in this important movement for fairness and transparency in Florida's elections.
  • Become a member of FFEC so that we can continue to do this important work.
